Моё внимание привлек оборот "Your performance will be affected by this". Если подумать, your performance IS this. Писавший, очевидно, имел в виду "Your performance evaluation (appraisal,review) will be affected by this".

Очевидно, имеет место некий перенос (уверен, что у филологов есть для этого умное слово), as in "он остался дома, потому что у него температура" или "у него нашли какую-то онкологию".
